True love heals
If someone intentionally hurts you in a way that was not only unjustified but also unnecessary and then claims to love you, then it’s not love. True love always heals you, will leave you better than it found you.
A good person’s love, kind words and actions can heal you
Something you genuinely love to do can heal you
A sweet animal’s love can heal you
Your own better choices for yourself can heal you
A higher power / God can heal you
Also, who can you heal?
If everyone made sure it’s a two way street there would be less suffering in this world. Most people act selfishly hurting others for personal entertainment. Or act too altruistically letting others hurt them thus unwittingly encouraging evil.
How do we know what is true love? The love that completely heals you.
