About This Collection

Minimal designs are very popular in the wedding market. I know because I have been in this market for more than a decade now. Most brides want something very simple, not too much.

Minimal is not really my go-to style. However, as a designer I’ve always tried to be as versatile in my work, as I can be, so my work can cater to a wide variety of customer preferences.

Minimal designs look nice, of course, but my maximalist soul always wants to fill in every little blank space with something pretty. No voids. Nature abhors voids. I abhor voids too. However, this was a style I had to master, because why not. As a designer, I should be able to design anything a customer wants, at least that’s what I always keep in mind for customer satisfaction.

So, I decided to work on a highly minimal collection with minimal floral motifs, and soft calligraphic typography, nuanced with some complimenting serif typography. The result is my Purple Peony Collection.

When my Etsy shop was active, I spent months and years adding new items to this collection. I have some good memories of customers praising and appreciating my work in this collection. I was so happy that I was able to design a minimal, yet very beautiful and elegant collection of work.
