I am Soumya S. Mohanty (“I”, “me”, or “my”), an independent Graphic Designer-Artist with 13 years of work experience. This website www.soumyasdesigns.com (“my website”) is one of the online platforms through which I sell the licenses to use my graphic design and artwork, as well as my graphic design products and services.
- I don’t ask you for any information unless I actually need it to deliver my products and/or services to you.
- The only personally identifiable information that you need to enter on my website for me to process your orders, are Your Full Name and Your Active Email Address. (Read more about it below.)

What Type Of Information Is Collected From You?
Data That Is Automatically Collected For Any Visitor To My Website (NOT-Personally-Identifiable Information or General Statistical Information)
For e.g. If you have cookies enabled, then a previously visited website will load faster as your browser already remembers some of the information that need to load on that website. Cookies will also remember if and what items you have added in your shopping cart, even when you don’t register on the website.
Authentication cookies are used by a web server to authenticate that a user is logged in, and from which account they are logged in. This is to provide a better user experience, so that a logged in user doesn’t have to enter his/her password on every page they visit, once they’re logged in.
Some of the links on my website contain affiliate links to third party websites such as links to my Zazzle shop. If you click on this link and purchase from Zazzle, then Zazzle may pay me a small commission from that purchase at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are a hit or miss. If I do earn a commission (thank you for purchasing), it helps support my work.

Some of my posts on my website contain embedded content (e.g thumbnails, text links, affiliate links) to my shops on other platforms like Zazzle, Etsy, Society6, Redbubble, etc. Some of my posts also contain links to articles, images, products to other relevant websites. If you click on those links, you will be directed to those other websites.
Data That You Yourself Choose To Enter When You Purchase, Register, Comment, Review, Or Message Me Through My Website (Personally-Identifiable Information)
The only personally identifiable information I need to process your orders, and hence ask for, are Your Full Name and Your Active Email Address. (I also ask for your City, State, and Country but that’s not personally identifiable information.)

When you choose to purchase from my website, register an account on my website, or leave a comment on my website, the data shown in the forms is collected, as well as the IP address, and browser agent string to help spam detection.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
How Is Your Personally Identifiable Information Handled?
To fulfill your orders, provide customer support, and for basic business accounting
I need your full name as well as your active email address to process your digital orders. Most of my products are digital downloads, and hence your accurate email address is necessary to deliver the files and links to you.
I also need this information for basic accounting purposes. I need to know who I’m selling to, and need to keep a record of it for basic customer support (to identify you, to contact you if required, and to communicate with you regarding your order and related services), and for basic business accounting.
If you place an order on my website, or purchase any product or service from me, I need to keep a record of these, in perpetuity (as long as I operate my business):
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your partial or full postal address (if you have yourself shared it with me, or if shared with PayPal)
- Your order details (such as names of items/listings purchased, total payment amount, etc.)
How Is Your Billing Data Handled After Checking Out?

As of now, I accept payments only through PayPal. PayPal is a widely used way to pay online, and internationally.
In order to process your payment and place the order successfully, the data you enter on the billing form on my website, while checking out, such as your name, location, and email address will get auto-filled on the PayPal payment page form so you don’t have to type it again.
Whatever email address you enter on my website on the billing page, might also get auto-filled on the PayPal page form. If you wish to change the email address PayPal uses to communicate with you, you will need to manually change the email address on the PayPal payment page.
How Is Your Credit Card Information Handled?
No credit card information
I do NOT collect any credit card information from you, while checking out, or anywhere on my website.
After checking out, once you’re redirected to the PayPal payment page, you may enter your credit card details on the PayPal payment page, if you don’t already have a PayPal account.
PayPal does NOT share your credit card information with me.
How Is Your Information Protected?
Standard Cyber Security Protocols
There’s actually no sensitive data that you share with me in the first place.
For whatever data you do share with me, I follow all basic internet security protocols. My website has a verified SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate, as well as other 24×7 security monitoring systems provided by one of the best cyber security providers in the world. I do not want to publicly disclose the name of the company for security reasons, but feel free to ask me in private if you want to know. I will only disclose to you if you’re already my customer (placed order/s through my website).
Is Your Information Shared With Third Parties?
I do NOT manually share your information with anyone or anywhere, except that which is required to process and deliver your order, or unless required by law.
This does not include companies and/or services that assist me in running my website, as well as delivering your order to you. Currently I only use a hosting company, an online editor company, plugins, a payment processor, and email to deliver your digital download links. However, in the future if I do use a printing company to print my products and deliver to you, then I will have to collect from you and share your shipping information with them, as long as they keep it confidential too, and use the information only to ship your order.
How Can You Opt-Out, Modify, Or Remove Your Information?
To delete cookies stored on your computer (or mobile device), navigate to the ‘History’ settings of your browser. You’ll be able to delete all cookies and authenticated sessions.
Account registration to place an order is optional, since, guest checkout is enabled on my website. However, if you frequently place orders on my website (thank you so much) and have registered an account, then you can edit your personal information by logging into your account. You are responsible for keeping your account password safe.
If you want to delete your registered account on my website, then contact me.
Please note, that even if you delete your registered account and all your information from my website, as mentioned earlier, if you’ve placed any order/s on my website, or purchased any product or service from me, I still need to keep a record of the transaction details, including your provided information, for customer support, reference, and bookkeeping.

If you have registered to receive newsletter from me through email, then you may choose to stop receiving those emails by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom end of the email newsletter.
